As I have loved the whole adventure of the Spiderwick Chronicles, I have loved the last novel of the Grace Children.
There is so much in the last book, so many plans and betrayals and reunitings. I loved it. It was the longest book out of the series and was packed with action. At the first of the series, Mallory was a moody teen, who was always mad. By being with her family and suffering in faerie with them, I think it brought the family closer together.
Jared was also hurt by his father's leaving but was healed by the love of family. It is so true.
But...but, there was some things that were a little too shaky.
They went into detail of how the girl's bathroom has no urinals and a little something that I think I wont put in here. These small insignificant things can become huge. I know it's truth, but children will be reading them. Ahh well.....
So I now close the fantastical world of the Spiderwick Estate between it covers and say farewell.......
